At Hallam, our focus is to deliver exceptional results for our clients but, equally, we care about creating an enriching environment for our employees because we recognise their happiness is integral to our success.
Whilst we’re aways buzzing to win awards for our work, we’re really proud that we’ve been listed as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work 2022 for the second year in a row.
Not our first rodeo…
Hallam received not one, but two, best place to work awards back in 2021, and we’re only hoping to go upwards from here.
Our Head of People, Sean Butcher, was elated to be placed on the list a second time. Sean said: “I’m delighted that we’ve been ranked as one of the UK’s best companies to work for yet again. This is really incredible news and it’s a great reflection on the team here at Hallam. Awards like this recognise the effort the team put into not just their own work, but into helping one another – in my opinion making Hallam an inspiring workplace to be a part of.”
Winning a place on Campaign’s Best Place to Work list for the second year in a row, we’re honoured to be recognised for our commitment to a happy working life – a commitment that has been cemented as a core value here at Hallam.
Our CEO, Julio Taylor, recognised the importance of maintaining a pleasant work environment after receiving the award back in 2021 saying: “If there’s one value and core belief I’ve held since the day I started in agencies, it’s that work should exist to make our lives better, not the other way around.”
Amen to that.
But don’t just listen to the awards…
We asked our team to share their thoughts about why they like working here. Here’s what they had to say.
Kate Vines, Project Delivery Manager, said: “At Hallam, we have a leadership team that supports and encourages both career and personal growth; plus, it’s so great to be surrounded by industry-leading experts to learn from, knowing that you have the right team to deliver the best results for our clients.”
Amani Majed, Paid Media Consultant, said: “I love Hallam’s ‘work from anywhere policy’. It means I not only get to work from where I live in Italy but remote work always means I get to visit my family in Beirut next week and continue to work from there. It’s been a year since I’ve seen my family and this opportunity to spend some time with them is just priceless.”
Charlotte Tomlinson, Organic Performance Director, said: “it’s nice to go to work every day – not just with smart, talented and kind people but also with good friends.”
And if that doesn’t quite persuade you, maybe Jonathan Ellins, Lead Technical Strategist, can. He explained: “With Hallam’s approach to hybrid work, you can multitask at home. For example, your top half could be presenting an in-depth marketing strategy to a client and your bottom half could be treading grapes to make some fine wine.”
