Whilst our team had worked with WEX for several years on a paid media retainer, for Q4 2023, WEX tasked Hallam with a specific challenge; our target was to drive additional leads – as many as possible – via a three-month campaign.
We delivered an omnichannel paid media campaign that showcased creativity, strategic thinking and a data-driven approach to deliver an 18% increase in leads versus target, while spending 10% less than originally forecast.
Activity ran across 7 markets, utilising a combination of channels over a three-month period, allocating this spend to expanded activity on Google Ads & Programmatic Display as well as fresh activity Yahoo Ads, Programmatic Display and Native inventory.
We secured two award wins for this paid media campaign; our work was awarded ‘Best Use of Search B2B (PPC)’ at the Global Search Awards in June 2023 and ‘Best Paid Media-Led Campaign’ at the European Paid Media Awards in September 2023, including being finalists for ‘Digital Industries: Paid Search’ at The Drum Awards in November 2023.
