The client
Source BioScience is an international provider of state of the art laboratory services and products.
Headquartered in Nottingham, UK, with locations in Cambridge, Rochdale, Ireland and San Diego, USA, they serve a variety of markets, with multidisciplinary expertise in healthcare diagnostic services, genomics, stability storage solutions, COVID-19 Antigen PCR Testing, blood and serology, and life science products.
The challenge
The team at Source BioScience are experienced digital marketers, and they were seeking a partner who could provide assistance with setting the strategic direction of their digital campaigns, as well as acting as an additional pair of hands to get the work done.
Their key focus was on lead generation, with the prime objective being to acquire leads with the most favourable return on investment, identifying how digital marketing could help them realise cost savings on other marketing activity.
Source BioScience’s ambitious growth plans centred on addressing the USA market and this was their top priority.
What we did
Hallam’s full service digital strategy incorporated SEO, PPC and digital PR to help them acquire more customers and increase online revenue.
Hallam developed an international SEO strategy, focusing on improving the structure of the website to increase its visibility in regions outside of the UK. We also undertook both a competitor analysis and situation analysis to identify what was going well, and identify areas for improvement.
We provided expert guidance supporting the development of their new website, and designed and delivered a technical migration strategy to ensure successful launch.
As a Google Premier Partner, we developed PPC campaigns to target potential customers with a clear focus on maximising return on investment.
The results
Source Bioscience saw steady growth in their organic rankings, which resulted in an 11% improvement in organic traffic year on year.
Our team also delivered significantly more orders through Source Bioscience’s paid advertising spend, with a 528% increase in orders year on year, from a 12% reduction in spend.
